Programmes
The SSN
College of Engineering presently offers six programs: four at the
undergraduate level and two at the postgraduate level. All the
programs are affiliated to the University of Madras, and approved
by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New
Delhi. The courses follow the curriculum of the University of
Madras, and the methodology focuses on classroom interaction,
self-learning, periodical evaluation, projects, partnerships with
leading institutions, and ultimately - transformation through
education.
The
Institution offers four IT-related undergraduate degree programs
in Engineering:

The
B.E./B.Tech degree courses are of 8 semester (4 year) duration.
The first year courses are common to all disciplines. The degree
requirements include successful completion of 31 core courses, 4
electives, 10 labs and an industry-based project in the final
semester.
The
SSN School of Management & Computer Applications, a part of
SSN College of Engineering, offers two postgraduate degree
programs:

Applications are affiliated to the University of Madras and
approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
