Infrastructure
The SSN College of Engineering has an impressive range of student amenities, that makes it a favoured educational destination for aspiring IT students. The campus facilities include separate hostels for men and women, a sports complex, a canteen, clinic and banking facilities:

Library
The central library has an extensive collection of academic volumes and titles. In addition, the library subscribes to popular periodicals, national and international journals. The number of books is augmented on a continuous basis. A large number of CD-ROMs and audio cassettes are a supplementary digital resource offered by the library. The College is an institutional member of the IIT, Anna University and British Council Libraries. Full fledged Internet labs are a further research infrastructure.

Modern Hostels 
SSN College of Engineering has separate hostels for Men and Women. Each hostel has integrated facilities included Internet connectivity in each room.. 

Transport 
The SSNCE Campus is situated about 30 kilometres away from Chennai city. A fleet of 20 buses ferries students between home and college.

Sport Annexes 
Sports is integral to the education at SSNCE. The sports facilities at the campus include a brand new athletic track, a cricket pitch, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and separate gymnasium for men and women.

Health Care 
Facilities exist for on-campus medical attention. The Health Care Service is provided absolutely free of cost to all SSNCE students.

Mentoring & Counselling Services 
Every student is assigned a faculty member who serves as his or her mentor. A qualified counsellor on campus attends to the needs of the students. First generation learners, rural and vocational students are given special attention to help them cope with the academic requirements. 

Placement 
The Placement Office at SSNCE is a vibrant, proactive enterprise that aims at securing for every student a “meaningful placement in highly rated companies”. Stress is laid on interactive sessions with students to ensure enhancement of self-esteem, confidence, and communication skills. Many leading companies visit the college campus every year. A majority of the students find placement well before graduating.
